For those that knew or heard their music, Maurice Gibb was one third of the Brothers Gibb, aka the Bee Gees, and unfortunately passed away aged 53. Its sad to hear of another death of yet another talented musician, with Joe Strummer passing a few weeks back. It is the unfortunate end of a great musician, and most likely, a great band.   |

Fucken oath. I hadn't heard the news, I was only reading in the paper this morning that he was ill. So many greats are passing away, and I wonder if we'll be remembering the majority of todays artists on the day that they die. I think not. The age of disposable music may not appreciate the greats, but I know I do. May the true masters rest in peace.

It's sad when any one who you've heard of dies. I didn't like the Bee Gees music either but it's a sad day when one of the members especially one of the members dies. Have you ever noticed, most musicians don't live too long. *note to self, 'don't become a musician.'

true. But if they don't sucumb to some form of cancer, liver malfunction, alcohol poisoning or drug over dose. They seem to die in other circumstances e.g car accidents, plane crashes [self combustion] and helicopter accidents.

true. But if they don't sucumb to some form of cancer, liver malfunction, alcohol poisoning or drug over dose. They seem to die in other circumstances e.g car accidents, plane crashes [self combustion] and helicopter accidents. Don't forget death by "Handgun DIY head ventilation" |

hate to admit it, but i actually sorta liked the movie. i liked it for its corniness and tounge-in-cheekiness. it really wasnt meant to be taken seriously. it lost the plot in parts but some were gold. "orange is the new pink!!" |
