Well there's a few of you who visit regularly to HMJ that live in and around Perth. And i know you also love to see live acts.
I've been playing in a new band for a month or two now and we're about to play our first gig.
Sunday the 11th of May at the Leederville from 7pm onwards there's a band comp. Winners of the whole competition get to play at the Big Day Out 04. (what we've been told)
Please come and support us. We're "Stellar"
As most band comps go, it's as per normal the band with the most support or best crowd response wins.
I will be hassling you all regularly in every thread from here on in.
That includes you to Bob Evans, Heath and everyone at team Jebs. You guys know what its like starting out.
Besides what better excuse for a Sunday session.

If you plan on coming, leave a msg here & let me know so i can look out for you and say g'day. I'll let u know what im wearing the day before so you will recognise me.

Hmmm, i think your right. I spoke to Kev last night at the Amplifier, seeing if we could get a demo played on Nova when they're on and he said the same thing.

Im not an original member, so a name change may or may not happen. I'll have to let em know, cos even Kev reckons the other "Stellar" are really shit.

...cos even Kev reckons the other "Stellar" are really shit. Stellar* are from New Zealand. Boh Runga sings for them (Bic Runga's sister I think). They're a harmless pop band with guitars for credibility. Yeah, pretty shit. |

haha yeah that comp sounds awesome- its like the band with the loudest "fans" wins! me and my sis were thinking about entering our crappy starting-out band but then again, we dont have very loud friends...  good luck with your gig |

Slushpup, you sound like a loud person so why not just come along and make some noise!!!! Im looking forward to this gig, seeing as though we have never played as a band on stage as of yet. *shivers down my spine* hmm bit nervous though  |
