Thanks to everyone who have said they will try to come and or will come. I'm rather amazed at the response. You're all so kind. I found out some more info, (typical bass player, last to know) N E way. There are three bands that are playing. The first band at 5pm, 2nd at 6pm and the third at 7pm. Stellar are playing at 7pm. I'll be there at about 5ish. GOtta do the right thing and show a bit of support for the other bands. OK im gonna be wearing blue jeans, and a nice collared blue shirt, small checkers. (i like blue) I stuffed around the other day and gave myself a cut and colour. Short spikey sorta mohawk hair with a terrible job at being blonde (more of an orangey yellow)  Hope to c u there. Come say g'day. If you cant come then catch us playing somewhere soon, ( i think Mojos next sat night not confirmed yet) CHeers for your support  |

Yay - we won our heat and onto the next round in June, the 1st if im not mistaken.
The band before us didnt turn up, so we were asked to play earlier and also the time slot we were given.
As a band we had jammed together three times before the gig, and only had 5 songs for our half hour set. With the extra time we were given we pretty much jammed, played some blues. BUT then the lead singer started playing something entirely different, and i couldn't see what chords he was playing so i fukd it up big time. Then he played a rocked up version of Brittany Spears - Hit Me Baby One More Time. FARKN HELL.
All in all it was a rather shit show we put on, but hey we still won, also started a fight with the other band that won. Grrr they weren't happy.
He he he, i rang Nova after the gig and Kev gave us a plug for winning.........sweeet

If anyone has any complaints please let me know. BUT im gonna update this thread just letting people know of dates and times where we are going to be playing. Just trying to build up a little fan base hopefully. OK then. 17th May - Mojos along with three other bands, 8:30 on 1st June - (to be confirmed) Leederville Hotel 18th June - La Bog Inn Northbridge Come check us out. just out of interest...a friend's band was playing at the leederville in a band competition recently and i was wondering if that was the one. i wouldn't be surprised.

Not sure what the bands names were. I know there were 4 bands. 1 was Undecided, another Nice Box.
Did your friends band win their heat? Are they a four piece? There was an asian dude on guitar in one band, and in the other band i dont know the name of the guitarist has got red/orange hair.
