Congrats!
I should be going for my Learners anytime soon, but maybe i should read the book entirely first, although i do hear the test is all multi choice and is fairly easy. Driving sounds too scary though, i just always imagine i'm going to fret and lose concentration and crash! Mum said she'd take me to Bunnings carpark or something first to have a little drive around and practice parking and crap- apparently she is 'itching' to take me driving. Parents these days.

congrats tlcm  just remember...with great power comes great responsibility.  (that...and designated driving duties) selfish_bitch- driving isnt scary. well, depending on whos in your car at the time. all you gotta do is read that one chapter of the book that has the road rules before the test...i read mine about a half hour before, so there ya go. its a pretty easy test, more based on common sense than learnt knowledge.  |

i've been out driving once, didn't really like it much, too much co-ordination and concentration required

Went to a nice lil pub with Enis and Simon, my two man posse, had unbelievably cheap drinks, and was amused by my antics where I asked people if they wanted a worthers original  Thats what the holidays are all aboot. Reading the book is overrated... I still havent read it. If someone honks you assume its wrong and dont do it again... nah
Driving is fun, unless u want to drink. then it sucks. And make sure ur friends have decent cars so they dont whinge and say my cars crap can you drive tonight. And do it all the bloody time (Everlong that isnt directed at you, ur always willing)

yeah "apparently" a stop sign means to stop and not "go around really slowly" as i did on my first test. which i discovered to my amusement/horror, is an instant fail. gogo me. |

you know when u cum to a "left turn permitted" sign..well apparently when ur on your l's u have to wait until the light is green ...isnt the whole point left turn permitted on red?  ?i think they were just ripping me off. |
