Folks, we have never moderated this board as we had faith that people would act in a reasonable manner. In the last couple of weeks there have been way too many offensive, degrading, vicious etc posts. Not to mention the fact that a couple of you who think they are just being funny aren't.
So, please, grab some manners, I don't want to discourage spirited conversation and debate as well as funny shit, but those of you that know you are crossing the line should really stop. Otherwise we are going to be forced to start banning people and acting like little policemen, which I'm not too keen on. Quite happy to do it though.

Is this in reference to 'aaron' or every topic that's been posted in the last months??
I realize that, yes, we have been getting a little out of hand. But I havn't been more entertained in a long time. Sure, these threads that 'aaron' posted were very much over the top..the caps are what annoyed me, but I think if we step back a couple of weeks in time in the history of this board you will find it was the happiest time for many people.
I don't think calling people, or their music tastes 'shit' is over the top, it's just ignorant. I'm happy being ignorant. But, having this freedom of speech is better than the none at all we had before the revolution on this board occured. The lack of a moderator has probably helped us along our own self-destructive road. You're just like the father that stepped out on us Heath! Went to get the groceries and never came back. Except, now you're back..and it appears with a shotgun.
Anyways, Heath I hope you didn't mean that we should revert back to our old 'heads-in-the-sand' manner.

sure, that period where there were about 2 new messages a day was really great. I loved how people wouldn't express an opinion because other people would have a go at them and heaven forbid, provide an alternate opinion on the topic. Boy those times were really stimulating.
i know sarcasm is said to be the lowest form of humour...but i'm not trying to be funny, just pointing out how stupid i think the suggestion was.

Thankyou Michael. Everyone needs to chill. If anyone finds much of this stuff offensive then they shouldn't own the internet/a computer/a television/a radio/a newspaper. This is fickle bullshit which livens up my fickle little life. You are here for my entertainment, you mean nothing to me. The insults, therefore, should mean nothing.
