I must say it's a pretty fucking piss-poor lineup compared to previous years. Assuming tickets aren't too expensive I'll probably go anyway, but honestly, Grinspoon as headliners? Bah.

well i spose they're moslty good aussie bands which is nice, but they're all acts that we've mostly seen before!!! bring on new headliners...anyway i'll still go, haven't been to a good gig in ages

well it was supposed to be all aussie from the start n then green day was here not that i was complaining. and shihad oh pacifier. well they are nz turned aussie. isnt there gonna be 2 this year to make up for last yr. i hope they announce a few more bands...

that is a pretty disappointing line up but at the same time if you think about it, its not taht bad, that many aussie bands, think bak to the day when we got john butler trio, beaverloop, killig heidi, jebediah, powderfinger and silverchair. they only reason i went that day was for jebs and powderfinger.

so i guess im a tad disappointed due to teh fact that ive been waiting for so long for this announcement....however i was cheered up when i read todays x-press....there is TWO Rock-its this year!!!!!!!! hence the fact this one has been announced as the 'Spring Edition"
so hopefully the second one will have atleast one international/headlining quality band, not that theres anything wrong with grinspoon of coarse...i luv grinners

personally there are one or two bands on there that i dont particularly want to see but the bands i do want to see far outweigh them so im going to go and im going to have fun

well at least its something. weve all seen the bands before but i reckon they were all pretty cool last time i saw em. so for 5 bucks a band...count me in .

even though i've seen 'em all before (and was hoping for a much bigger/better headliner) i'm still happy. it's not just the bands i've missed in the year we skipped rock it, but the whole festival atmosphere...it's always a rad day no matter who's playing.

but MGF are gonna rock the casbah.

and i'm sooo happy that they're having two festivals this year. *sighs happily*

lovin the lineup (superheist exluded...ew) and love the fact that locals fergies and spencer tracy seal the deal!
i wanna hear the other rockit lineup though..hope its an international one considering it looks liek they focused on the locals for this leg.
