I can't stand it when girls turn up to gigs all dressed up. i completely understand wearing clothes that are comfortable, even if that's a mini skirt, but some girls are obviously there to score. And the one's that hang around the door to back stage are even more obvious. i think its funny though, at a recent gig i went to, this girl was saying she was the biggest jebs fans and she knew so much about them and then we got inside and she new 'Fall down' and 'nothing lasts forever' and stood there all confused for the rest of the gig. VERY FUNNY!!!!! I had a good laugh! ;D Lol. I wouldn't embarrass myself that much, going to a gig and only knowing two songs.

Lol. I wouldn't embarrass myself that much, going to a gig and only knowing two songs. i have been to many gigs of local bands where i don't know many songs - that's the way i get to know if i like them or not

I believe the public liability insurance crisis began over an influx of claims regarding some serious hair whip injuries following last summer's festival season I agree with Rozee re local bands (referring to little known ones, not jebs scale type). Should take a risk and see more local bands even if you don't know much of their stuff, to see if you like it. Gigs are usually really cheap too when they're not well known. Paintbrushes - I know it's a long ride, but sometimes the spoils are worth the nite ride bus trip up/down Parra rd. It was a good show - Kev said the Blacktown ari held a special place in his heart as his mum had seen John Farnham play there 20ish yrs ago.

Hairwhipping is really bad!!! no body can deny that! and mulletwhip is worse!!! that girl would have annoyed me at the time... maybe not so much after... but it's funny that the band laughed!!! Paintbrushes... your a gyro fan... did you hear how Zok lost to john butler for the best guitarist!?! that sucked!!!

i read it in one of your other posts! i thought to myself "who else is in perth plays guitar really well?" i couldn't think of anyone, but i guess john butler would have to win. he's a freak.
although his music fucking sucks.

Oh and it's alright to go see a band live even if you haven't heard them before but want to... just don't run around telling everyone how much you love them...in my opinion anyway!!
