ohhh, we know that one all too well. Add a punch in the back of the head from an angry fan cause i wouldn't let him on the fence instead of me. and the whole button in the grid thing, i got my belt caught. It ripped the buckle off and cut a huge gash in my stomach. that hurt!! still the best damn gig though.

Has anyone else noticed a high proportion of girls at Jebs gigs who are clearly more interested in picking up either band or punter than actually enjoying the music?
I know I'm being judgmental, but I think you have to draw the line at wearing a mini skirt, tight one shoulder crop top, and high heels to a gig - which I saw someone do at a Jebs show this year.
If you're wearing heels, you shouldn't be allowed in, because you always step on my toes!

Mini skirts, crop tops amd heels? ?? i agree. What is it!!! i dont understand nad how can that be comfortable to mosh in, someone plz tell me!!! Any melbournians rememeber old skool jeb concert, i think April 98 "rockin the east" at walker park. Hot weather, great bands and as always an ace set by jeb. It was part of the split personality tour with Living End. Really i cant say that there has been a Jebediah gig that i have been disappointed with!!!!

Personally, I think you can tell how "rock" a person is by the comfort level and flexibility of their clothes at a gig.
But thats just my opinion.
In the immortal words of the Human Torch (Fantastic Four for you non-comics or cartoons peeps out there);
"Flame On!"

I can't stand it when girls turn up to gigs all dressed up. i completely understand wearing clothes that are comfortable, even if that's a mini skirt, but some girls are obviously there to score. And the one's that hang around the door to back stage are even more obvious. i think its funny though, at a recent gig i went to, this girl was saying she was the biggest jebs fans and she knew so much about them and then we got inside and she new 'Fall down' and 'nothing lasts forever' and stood there all confused for the rest of the gig. VERY FUNNY!!!!! I had a good laugh! ;D

Hehehe... i agree with beck... but i have a better story!!! Blink concert... i thort it'd be all enema but then they ripped into Carousel (those who don't know it's a very very old blink song) and the bimbo in front of me yells out... "omi god it's a new song" HAHAHAHAHA!!! I could've killed her!!! ppl who know nothing bout the band but pretend to!!! as far as concert clothes... usually jeans and a shirt for me!!! ;D

Saw Jebs at Syd Uni in July. There was a girl in a red singlet top and tight pants who was dancing energiser bunny like for the whole gig at the front- (which is fine as I'm all for a boogaloo) except that it was obvious she was trying to just get the attention of Kev and Chris and pick up, and everytime anyone stood in front of her during the show, she pushed her way to the front again and cleared the space around her with her hair-whip. She was really obvious and I saw Kev, Chris and Ness look at her and laugh to themselves and each other a few times during the show....Chris and Ness especially.
Sorry if the girl I'm talking about is you......actually no, not sorry. If you're just there to pick up, don't go 'cause it's obvious and you get laughted at by the band.

I'd of thought she was rad too, 'cept she kept hitting me, so I moved away from the stage and closer to the side near the bar. Though I won't begrudge her having had a good time I 'spose.

Speaking of BBK, saw Jebs and BBK again nite after at Blacktown ari. Walked in same time as Jamie from BBK - the security guards stopped him and asked for ID as he walked straight past them to the steps. He said "I'm in the band" and they still asked for ID Sometimes "I'm in the band" doesn't work, even if you are!

everyone has to show ID at rsl's, because you have to sign in etc. it's annoying.
i went to the blacktown show, too but i only got to see gyroscope. and half of bbk at blacktown because i wasn't too keen on travelling home on the train by myself from blacktown. i'm just a skinny little white boy.
the unsw show was the best i've seen jebs, i think. tighter than a nun's... *cough*.
