We have some stupid 'citizenship afternoon' on monday, beginning of yr 12... 'afternoon' meaning from 12 until like 7... with 'team building'... i mean, what the?? at least it doesn't start till 12, BDO is the day before. Sadly, i don't think there will be any bands of any description there... the highest profile band that ever played at our school was Showbag, I think I heard one of their songs on the radio once... I mean, last year our physics teacher (thank god he's left) and his band played - and they were playing old blues covers and stuff, and the fact that they were all over 40 didn't help... Yeah, I'll stop complaining now...

year 12 sucked. i wanted to kill myself during TEE. well...almost. most stressful time of my life, i tell you... FUCK YES. For my year 12 exams I stressed out the whole year over it and did nothing but study most of the time. For the final mark I got, I may as well have piss-farted around throughout the year, as it was pretty mediocre. Probably one of the most significant things I regret at this stage of my life, but meh. At least now, I'm less-stressed, and don't worry about things as much (ahhh, the joys of alcohol ;D ) But year 12 is EXTREMELY overrated - so many people go on as if it is the be-all and end-all, like parents and teachers, but there are plenty of other options, aside from just furthering your education. Year 12 had its moments, I guess, just not as many as I would have liked. Thats just my thought. I really don't know why I felt the need to bring this up. Once again - meh.

1st Day of yr 12 (inspired by Micahel)
After experiencing the joys of spending the day writing essays. Before discovering that computers were the most fucked up things ever invented and laughing (well cringing) at the fact that my printer for reasons unknown to me decided not to wok at 11:30pm. Not to mention that my bedroom isn't air conditioned and I don't sleep with the door opened leading to a very hot, sticky and sleepless night (although I did have 2 fans going). I was woken up by my mum at 7am with the delightful purpose of going to school.
I arived at school sometime after 8:30am . I paticipated in the whole hugging thing (well I wasn't really in the mood, I was kinda grumpy and tired).
Sometime after 9 (most likely 5-10 past) we went to assembly to get a lecture about how well last years yr 12 went and the pecentage that went on to Uni (although the yr adviser contradicted it by saying that Uni's not the be all and end all and that the world needs garbos as much as doctors). We also got our time tables and stuff.
Sometime later. Went to 1st period, art. My teacher decided that she'd give us an extension for the homework. yay.
10.30am recess, it was only yrs 7, 11 and 12 at school however apparently this yr 7 is a record number, there were an army of them, whenever they went to assembally or class they swarmed like ants and we were almost drowned in them, just looking at them in one of the quads looked like the school usualyy does when every one is there. (last yr there were 1,100-1,200).
10:45 (50)am after bumming around the front office for ages while I waited for one of my friends to get her timetable fixed up I headed up to the Library to do my maths homework 9it turned out that I left the part I had done at home with my question sheet). So I sat around and talked.
Lunch. just the usually lunch things
3rd period. maths, we did work and stuff and I actually understood my teacher which is surely a good thing.
2nd recess. did almost nothing
4th period. Music. Did aural stuff, had an argument over getting drunk with my ex (he's only been drunk once and even then he was only 11, as if that counts). Got out early.
3:30-35 caught the bus. approx. 30mins later arived at my bus stop. Found my dads mail on the road and walked up thje drive way, realised halfway up the 1st hill how unfit I had become. Decided that I was definatly unfit 1/4 way up the last hill a feww hundren metres later. 4.15-30 Got home and watched the end of Road Kill. did some stuff then went on the net.
Yes this is even more boring and unerrelevant than Michaels post, however I didn't list every piece of food I ate from breakfast onwards.

everlong, sounds familiar, one of my best mates' hair fell out through year 12 she stressed herself out so much, and my best friends little sister had a nervous breakdown last year in the middle of TEE The amount of pressure put on students is fucking ridiculous. Year 12 was okay...i didn't mind school as much as I was constantly around friends and the teachers were pretty cool as well, just the shitload of studying and late nights were a bitch. But some of my fondest memories happened in year 12. The formal was great, the afterparty was relatively cool, WWE was called WWF, hackeysack was the game of choice at school, and made some friends that I see more now than in high school. Thinking of it now, I really wish I did more socially and had more fun than I did. Most parents are worried that their kids aren't studying enough - mine were worried I was doing too much. Plus being in a single sex school was shit. We were all socially deprived in that respect. Good luck Mediel. You should be fine. Don't let it get to you, and enjoy it while you are there.

In last years VCE someone got hold of one of the papers and the morning before the exam asked his teacher some of the answers, saying they were from a practice exam..He sms'd the answers to some people, it got around, the teacher saw the exam and noticed that they were the questions the student was asking and alerted the people in charge. Students from 5 schools were involved and of the 50 charged with cheating, 21 were found guilty. Of those 21, it turns out 6 were from my school. Today it was announced that although they dont know which school the leaked exam came from, my school will be punished since the exams were left from the courier in the principals office (with the principle) instead of being put straight into the safe. Unless my school can prove by April 31st that it's plan for dealing with the exam papers is safe, i'll have to go elsewhere to do my end of year exams. i thought that was rather fucked up.

They locked you in the rooms, is that even legal? My maths class got locked in the room once but that was only because the door jammed.
