speaking of all this homework, does anyone here know the difference between a violin and a fiddle? Every where I've looked has called a fiddle a violin and a violin a fiddle. Mabe it was a trick question. yeah, they're different. but i don't know exactly how.......... a fiddle is more of a traditional instrument i think, like the whole irish/gaelic thing... violin, think more classical symphony orchestras.... does that help??? like, you wouldn't call a classical violinist a 'fiddler'... and fiddle playing involves a lot more of the gypsyish improvisation type stuff, it's more of a different style rather than being a different instrument. |

i go back .... year 12 on tuesday. no, actually, monday, (day after BDO.....) but not till noon.... until 7.00 at night. LIFE SUCKS.

oh TEE was the worst time of my life so far, the day i was going to leavers all the stress came out and i cracked the shits worse than a two year old

Thanks for the fiddle info. It took me all day and night to work that out but I wasn't sure, I only got the idea when I discovered that all the fiddle info had country hill billy, Irish, Gaelic and traditional songs. One sourse also mentioned the violin as an orcestra instrument. But thanks again.
Josh are you hinting for the rest of us to stop spamming so Kev will post? Or are you just telling us things more than once so we know?

year 12 sucked. i wanted to kill myself during TEE. well...almost. most stressful time of my life, i tell you...
i'm doing a BA of communication & cultural studies at curtin uni. should be a rockin' day. i think magic dirt are playing at 2.15 and it's all ages and anyone can come...or so i've heard. so some of you kids should come and check it out if yr up for some o-day action. yippee.
i'm sure i will be suitably intoxicated.
what uni are you at dani? and what course are you doing?
