hey, I personally can't stand Waikiki.
apparently Frenzal has a beef with them too. maybe that could be the kind of fight where everyone ends up dead...
Hey, why the fuck were Frenzal on a mainstage? I mean jesus christ, talk about has beens..

at the melbourne big day out waikiki were on the main stage like the orange one and frenzal were up next on the blue and there was this huge crowd in fornt of the to be frenzal satge..more than in fornt of waikiki. anyway all the frenzal ppl were telling waikiki to fuck off and throwing shit at them and then the waikiki singer guy started talking to them and like told them to fuck off which was pretty funny. i felt pretty damn sorry for them as even if they suck it would be pretty crap to have a couple of hundred ppl telling you how much they thought you did. tell me about frenzal being past it... the new bassit is like over ten eyars younger than i think lindsay..though i suppose that doesn't matter, look at kraftwerk. but all their new songs are a pile of shit. bucket bong is such a stupid song. its like wow were almost thirty and have trouble dealing with it so we sing songs about smoking lots of pot. lex made a great decision to leave..maybe the musical differences were that he thought the band he was in sucked sad thing is i love all frenzals old stuff  |

when "Go Frenzal Go!" was released as a single, it was the final nail in the coffin IMHO.
I mean, jesus, how many idiots can really like "Bucket Bong" or "She likes me coz Ive got the drugs" (or whatever the fuck it's called...)
Sad really... very sad.

anyway all the frenzal ppl were telling waikiki to fuck off and throwing shit at them Bwahaha....that happened at Adelaide BDO as well...I was in the frenzal crowd and we all yelled at waikiki and then started chanting FRENZAL, FRENZAL, FRENZAL, FRENZAL, FRENZAL even louder then Here Comes September or whatever its called. |

lindsay is a dickhead. fuck gordy looked old..really really old. jay is ok. the new bass player seems pretty good. but they were pretty damn boring...wish i didnt waste my time. dont worry though i didnt watch all of them. i went to see gonzales  . what a champ. |

yeah ive sort of grown out of frenzal a bit...used to love em to bits when i was 15 but...yeah. it happens.  jay and lindsay were pretty nice guys though when i met them....we interviewed lindsay and he helped us get into their gig when there was a stuffup. lex was just lame though...always trying to sleaze it up onto underage girls which was just sort of sad. |

hmmm... wait til you hear the new stuff... reminiscent of their old stuff let me tell you. the girl at the start of bucket bong is rather the tops chick. as if it's not the best bogan voice ever!!!!!
i hope waikiki and jebs are feuding... waikiki are untalented and just boring serious losers. they tried to start up a waikiki chant when everyone was doing the frenzal chant... and the chick even asked jay to ask the crowd to stop it... hahahahahahaha. i woulda just laughed it off if i were them...

Wow, incase none of you've noticed - on the whole, Frenzal Rhomb fans are inconsiderate fucks. I don't like Waikiki, but fuck, what a dumb fucking tihng to do. It would take guts for Waikiki to try and shrug it off, or even be up there..Frenzal are yesterday's fucking news and Waikiki are actually on the verge of gaining a very large fanbase around Australia. Jealousy, anyone?

i agree with swank in that just because you dont like a band, it doesnt mean that you should torment and riddicle them when they have the courage to get out there on stage in from of a massive crowd (probably knowing that the greater percentage of them doesnt like their music) and still doing their thing. its really sad that those frenzal fans felt a need to strike a blow to a band thats relatively starting out, compared to the pretty seasoned pros that are frenza rhomb...something which waikiki couldnt help. its not that i really like waikiki but i still think its pretty lame for that to have happend. its like you gotta imagine what its like to be the local support at a popular bands gig if the crowd who went to see the big band started booing you off stage. lame. |

I actualy felt sorry for Frenzal at the melb BDO. I don't think they realised how bad they are. They are not funny and they played some of the shittest music of the day. As for waikiki, not a great fan of them but hey, all the best. The lead singer,juanita i think, was on jjj loaded the other day and she just sounded fake to me, like she was trying to impress Kingsmill. she could be a nice person though, i've never met her.
