Has anybody else heard of a band called Taking Back Sunday? - Their cd is called 'Tell All Your Friends' - I heard them for the first time today when I got a free Victory Records sampler cd when I bought a Thursday cd - I am debating wether or not to buy their cd, i enjoyed listening to their song 'Great Romances of the 20th Centuary'. Also on the cd where the bands Snapcase (never heard of them - I didn't really like the song Coagulate) - Atreyu (Ok song but I got sick of the heavy metal type singing thrown in all the way through) - The Reunion Show (I liked their song 'Kill Your Television') i love free sampler disc's - it gives you a taste of bands without having to pay any money

taking back sunday have just announced they are taking a possibly permanent break, ie the band have basically broken up
; (
ive been into them for about a year now. tell all your friends is a pretty killer album.
sampler cds are cool, if the label has awesome bands who arent popular or well known its really good!
fearless records put out one last year called "dont be scared volume 2" and i discovered a rad band called "brazil" they blew me away. awesome stuff!
but im sad about taking back sunday. everyone listen to them cause they are awesome

The album was ok, not great.
They probably broke up coz there are so many bands like them now. In the states anyway every new band sounds the same.

Yeh, like in Perth, almost every second band you come across claims to be punk.
