I'm so pissed off.. I went to a 1st birthday party yesterday for my friend's daughter, and I had Twitch, Odway and Shambles all sitting in my bag which was in the hall. Anyway, I got home yesterday and went to get them, and someone had ripped them off!  Luckily they left my discman, which was in a pocket, but still. So now I have no Jebs albums. And to make matters worse, I'm flat broke and can't afford to replace them. I think I might have to start rattling tins in the city... |

My condolences Jess.
I lost a Slightly Odway asian release to some theives who probably don't know what they have.
And I still have the case..... *sigh* aint never finding another one of them.
If anyone has a copy of it, could I get a CD-R please?

Blah, that's gotta suck, Millhouse.  I suppose I can console myself with the fact that Twitch, Odway and OSS are easily replaceable, but still. I don't have the money to. Especially if I want to try and get down to see them at Masters. I mean honestly, who steals Jebediah CDs at a kid's party? Punks. |

although all my records and cds are insured, if they get stolen i wouldnt be able to get half the stuff even second hand... id be fukd without em.
but the insurance money would be good

when something is stolen that has sentimental value, and you just _know_ the theives wouldnt get why its so important...

Nope.
the last 3 tracks are La-Di-Da-Da (with much smaller 'gap')
Monument (might be last track... cant remember)
and Tracksuit (from the Slightly Odway recording sessions....
also available on Aussie SO vinyl (which I have), but hey, much as I love V, its a pain...) SO Asian was the only cd release of tracksuit from the SO sessions).
Pain in the arse to get now, esp. being OOP.
I was speaking to Chris 2day, and even he doesnt have a copy....) *sigh*

Ok, well you'll be happy to know that the situation has been resolved, due to a great deal of kindness from someone here who will remain nameless.  (For legal reasons, obviously.) *dances* And Dayvid, do you get all your CDs insured? Surely that must cost a shitload..? |

yay jess, glad it all got sorted!  people who steal cd's suck, because they're so expensive/hard to replace in certain cases...if i lost an asian release of odway i'd be spewing. i don't even have a copy of that yet.  |

well theyr insured, but not for the full amount.. which i estimate to be up about 12000.. but obviously i couldnt sell em for that much or did i pay that much.. and i average cds to be worth $20 each, cos of singles, promos, eps and album as well as albums that are worth double a normal album,
so many bands dont even own their own releases and end up paying a bit to get tham a few years later, haha
