well, i love all the songs on the album... but looking at the songs for there mainstream potential i think that 'gangsta', 'country holiday song', 'baltic ballet' and 'ricochet' will almost defiantly not be released as singles... i don't think 'gangsta' is a strong enough song for a single release and 'ricochet' is not what ppl have come to expect as the typical jebs sound (but maybe they want to release a different sounding single to widen ppls views on them). 'baltic ballet' and 'country holiday song' have a certain novelty feel to them (not meaning i don't like them cos i love them), but i guess 'fall down' also has a novelty feel with the bagpipes. who knows! i think the most likely song would be 'yesterday when i was brave' (but edited for radio to make it shorter). also my maybes include 'NDC', if u want it' or 'october' and very slim chance of number one and eveready. i think it will be a really tough decision to make. personally i would love for NDC to be the next single cos it is heaps rocky and i can just see ppl turning there radios up as soon as they hear that intro. we will have to wait and see! sorry bout the long post... i'm just thinking aloud.

Here's something for everyone to consider...
I've noticed a trend in the way most artists release singles from an album. [This only applies to singles 'pulled' from albums, not to artists who release several singles before the album is made] This is also only a general trend, and isn't true for ALL artists, just a fair bloody few!
First single - Very much pop and radio friendly
Second single - More indicative of the artists actual sound
Third Single - A ballad or slower song
Have a good think about that one, and try it out on some of your fave bands. I'd give you some examples, but that'd take far too long. Anyway, by my logic the next Jebs single would be "Number one" or "If you want it". YWIWB would be a candidate if it weren't so long.

Your right YWIWB is 6 mins long , too long for radio, but they faded out the end of NLF for radio, i reakon if they cut the end piano bit and shortened the intro it would bring it down to 5 mins and "Feet touch the ground" was 5 mins, i think im really scrapping the bottom of the barrel now lol ....however i dont really like seeing songs altered just for radio, but i would really like to see it as a single.
"If you want it" is like 3 mins long ...nice for radio....maybe they will put out 2 more singles neways, i reakon the album is worthy of 4 singles. Wouldn't people agree?

Yeah, but I wouldn't trust Rosie Beaton if my life depended on it. She just so clueless. Can't stand her.

'N.D.C' would be great for the next single - i can't stop playing that track! 'Yesterday when i was brave' is also a brilliant song, and would be happy to see that as the next single also, but i think it looks like it will be 'If you want it'.
