emo is the bestest!! i love emo  i dont see how it could ruin anyones life... but i guess i dont know what the situation was there so ill shuddup now. yes. umm what else did i have to say? oh yes yes. 'spawn' is so amazing on the cd, i didnt know it was recorded live. or maybe i did? i dont know. but seeing them do it live is fucking amazing. i was actually sposed to be seeing them tonight with callum but i cant get thru to him cause his fone has been d/c and now hes fone-less in a strange city and im worried  |

Soap Star Joe frome Syd they only have one CD out and I really like it :-)

i still heart jebediah but .. confessionaly i was like skitzoid obessed with them last year... but with the huge gap between recording and all tours round me always being over 18 (grrr) i heart (whats the catagory- really heavy girl screaming/singing rock.... what kity copied off but now kitty they are just shit... ) now.
it is kindve weird being in this message board cause noones even heard what i call kik arse music(except the jebs and obvious others that still kik ass.) but although im a whingin/rambling/preachin/bitch im stickin round.

Hey Owen yeah they are cool!
when I was at Josies I saw that Sekiden poster we got at the Hoey on her wall and it said that Soap Star Joe were supporting and I htough they moght be good
then when we were at Red eye the next day I was lookign through second hand upstairs found Turnstyle Warped and Soap Star Joe and for some reason I wanted to get SSJ even though I hadn't heard them so I had a quick listen bought It and I love it :-) heheh and yes it is Handstands for love very good :-)
(oh and the handing out shit in Sydney was embarrassing but fun In a strange way I got to give out Cd's at first so It wasn't too bad people can't pass up a free cd even if it is of a shit band :-)

gee how did i know yew were gonna say soap star joe sarah!!  my fave mainly unknown kinda is dropweight from sydney but they've dissapeared. apparently they were meant to release an album in july or something but ti never happened as far as i know they still rawk tho. i'll just have to keep listening to their ep. |

ummm local perthies i like:
wookstar, gyroscope, klippspringer, autopilot, ikey mo, bordello, spencer tracy. arcadia and a few more. cant remember right now...
but i can definately say that i dont think wookstar are emo. no way bukkeroo. and this is comming from an accomplished wookies fan. and yes i also know the bassist...kinda.

theres a band from sydney called marvin. they are very good. they used to be called marvin has charisma. they have a 4song ep out called 'two chords' and JJJ has played one of the tracks off it called 'bandaids'. but the best song off it is the secret song. its damn awesome. the drummer, jimi, is also in rumanastone. they rawk ill be seeing ash tonight too... gotta get some fucking info on the new album. |
