but i like the music

I HEARD their music before I had seen them, that's what music is isn't it? Pleasure for the ears not the eyes. Of course attractive people are a bonus in any situation but that doesn't make them any more talented or nicer people. Yes I do believe Phil is pretty damn fine and obviously a matter of opinion - just my opinion. Physicality is not the only factor when it comes to being attractive.  |

they are treding the same talentless water
they were good in 97 but they didn't progress or challenge themselves like Jebs did

really looking forward to the next album - and personally i reckon the band have progressed - i mean try finding any songs like just ace on rock show or chemical nheart on ay of their other releases - there are none - rock show was heavier like champion, and if u listen to their ep's then u can tell that they have definetly progressed. anycase PROGRESSION is a word that people love to hear - eg radiohead and tool - or hate to hear and beg for the old stuff - eg silverchair (who are truely progressive - diorama rocks!), metallica etc - therefore personal pledge never to use the word progressive again - ta da - done! - sorry personal gripe!
as for the meat heads???

I like them.. I wouldn't say they're my favourite by any means but I own quite a few of their CDs. Although I really dislike their fans, hence why I don't go to a whole lot of their shows. Not to say that all Grinspoon fans are complete tossers (I'm usually not one to categorise people by the music they listen to) but if you'd been in the middle of their moshpit at Perth BDO I think you'd probably share my opinion.
