For those who have 1X1, Times Like These will be the new single. It was pretty predictable the foos would release this as a single. Definitely the best song on the new album, I don't thing they will (or should) be going for the funny video clip this time round as well.
Opinions?

They probably will do an amusing clip. My suggestion is to put the monkey faced drummer in a cage and tease him with bananas. The Funky Monkey................. hehehe he copies Dave so much, noticed he's shaved his moustache off just like Dave....... or how cute I absolutely love the influence from Queens Of The Stonage that Daves bought into the music......works very well

They've done plenty of funny clips. I think for a song like Times Like These, they need to just make a serious clip that posesses the qualities of a great video clip. (e.g. All My Life was not intended to be a funny clip, but its one of the coolest videos i've seen in a while)

The problem with doing a serious clip though is would anyone be able to tell that it was really serious. I don't know about you but I think Dave Grohl has a funny face but not in a bad way.

i think one of their best clips (besides everlong ) is the one for "walking after you"...serious but really great use of technique to make one hell of a clip.

Walking after you is a good filmclip. That version of the song (The video clip version) is way better than the one off TCATS. Further proof that they can pull off a serious film clip. My Hero is also one of my favourites, that clip doesn't set out to be funny either.

February Stars is better than Walking After you. I don't like the drums in Times Like These. Just thought I'd let you know.

He's right though February Stars is way better than Walking After You. Apparently its one track that Dave NEVER plays live, which is a shit.
BTW, I'm interested to know what album everyone thinks is their best work to date. I PERSONALLY like TINLTL, but in terms of which is the better album, I'd go TCATS.

I don't like the drums in Times Like These. Actually, I noticed that too. They just seemed to be lacking in parts, especially before the chorus. Still a good song though.
