There is a new girl band playing around Sydney called Modular Lounge. I saw them at the Annandale last week. Not only can they rock, but they are all real good looking chicks.... Specially the lead guitarist. Check them out if you get a chance. They remind me of a female Jebediah....

I've seen 3 really bad bands this year, and Modular Lounge are one of those. Terrible.

Hey, I have seen Modular Lounge play at the Manning Bar with Gersey. They were really good.... the crowd really liked them too. Its good to see a bunch of girls that can rock as hard as the boys..... although no one can compete with Jebs live!

electricity - each to their own I guess. How come you didn't like them? For a girl band, I thought they were alright - there are so few chick bands out there that play decent stuff. I mean, I could see they weren't that technical but I thought some of their songs were quite good. Most of the chick bands I have seen lately play this really heavy fast punk music - which never really sounds any good - just loud. Modular Lounge seem to have more of a punchy rock sound which is catchy and easier to listen to. While I think Gersey are a talented band, I actually found them quite boring that night - but thats just me!  |

Well, I don't like many girl bands at all, so obviously they'd have to be super mega good for me to like them. But they just sounded like Lash to me, and we all know how talented Lash are...
