Jebediah will apparently, according to the Fox Network of Australia, be appearing on Pepsi Live next Saturday 27/10. As they are playing at the "Prince of Wales" in Bunbury as part of their tour of Rural Western Australia on that night it must obviously be a pre recording from sometime earlier in the week.

yah they pre-record it a few weeks in advance, i might actually goto some of the recordings now i can, being 18. but only if someone reeeelly good is on! but this time i wont volunteer to get up on stage with a band and then be forced to stand on the side of the stage trying not to be bowled off the stage and land on my arse, either way i looked like a dickhead anyway

apparently pepsi live makes the bands dubb their performances. why o why? id prefer to see the real thing. and john toogood from shihad smashed his guitar or something because they told him he couldnt go crazy and it broke off a piece of the set. hehe. its funny whn you see bands dubbing their performances because they run around and do crazy stuff without even playing their instrumants or singing. but the music is still there. funny that.

Yeah dubbed live performances really take the point out of having any musical talent whatsover. There's nothing better than seeing a band expose the perfomances for what they are by putting on their own show. I remember seing a video of Nirvana playing a dubbed version of Smells Like Teen Spirit on some live British Television program. Dave was playing the drums with his feet, Krist was waving his bass around above his head and smashing it against the drum kit and Kurt was just standing there motionless, continuously strumming the same chord.

shep - i was up on stage wif 28days when they played tip it up on house of (s)hits. hehe that was embarrassing :/ not everyone mimes on teevee though, something for kate NEVER do it, tonic didnt when they were at one of the house of hits recordings i was at (i dont claim to like the band though... thats illegal). most of the bands/groups on hey hey it saturday did, but alot didnt, i remember the superjesus, something for kate and pollyanna not doing it cause i have them on tape i have shihad on pepsi live on tape where john smashed his geetar, i watch it so much. i piss myself laughing. he tries so hard to smash it!! they actually gave away that geetar as part of some competition on the site, thatd be so cool to have.

woo i might go then, just cause theyre playing live. and i also heard that they do a few songs aswell as the one they put on teevee? or maybe i dreamt that? i dunno. im pretty sure someone told me they do.
yeah i have no idea why people dont play live... i guess its cause theyre either shit live, or just lazy pricks. if theyre gonna mime, they may aswell just stand there with nothing and pretend theyre actually playing something. why set up amps etc for nothing? i dont see the point either.
but ill never forget the time on the norman gunstan show when i think it was 'girlfriend' were miming and then the tape fucked up. bwahahaha.

According to new information from Jebediah's official site Hotel-Motel, the live performance will actually be recorded on Wednesday the 31/10 at Fox Studios in Melbourne. So much for the information I got from the Fox Network of Australia. Sometimes it pays to ask for a second opinion.
