it's $50 but i'll be there anyway. mm festival atmosphere. and anything to see george live  ;D

And yes, the ad is mighty cool, especially seeing FFC flash on the screen for a whole 2 seconds. 8)

Hmm actually I find it really disturbing that your friends are paying $55 just to see Lash..?

but the worst thing is, that they're going just to see one band, and i can't afford to go anymore, and i love almost all the bands on the bill!!

Ok, here's a few ideas for you..

1) Rob a bank. Highly impractical and dangerous but meh.
2) Borrow money off your parents. Tell them all your favourite bands are on the bill and you'll repay em as soon as you get the cash.
3) If #2 failed, tell them it can be classified as an early Christmas present.
4) Borrow money off your friends.
5) Steal money off your friends.
6) Steal your friends' tickets. They don't deserve them anyway.

Ok so most of those suggestions suck, but I'm just trying to help. Has anyone noticed that the ad claims that a band called Forth Floor Collapse are playing? Dickheads.

And if all else fails, Alex, just console yourself in the fact that Big Day Out is only a little while away.. And if you're dying for a gig, go to the one in Subi tomorrow. If you're not already of course.

i couldnt go for two reasons 1. couldnt afford it
                               and  2. have other important plans for that day.

oh jess, those ideas were all so excellent, and now i wont have the chance to try them out..

i cant believe its been cancelled due to lack of interest from the public...thats shocking!! what is that saying about the [lack of ] support for original australian music here in perth???
whhhaaaaaaaats the deal.

i'm kinda pissed off because it would've been heaps of fun but also relieved because it would've been so much trouble to actually get there... *sighs*

Why yes, yes they were. *cough* And oh so practical.

As for the whole lack of interest from the public, I think it was just mainly due to the fact, firstly, that it's 2 weeks before Christmas. It's an expensive time of year and most people are low on cash. (Such as me.)

Plus Big Day Out is soon, and that's $90 plus you can see some of the bands there as well.. So I'm not surprised, but I'm still pissed off because I was looking forward to it. Bah. And now I have to work out what I'm going to do with my $55 refund? Pay off some of my debt? Blow it on CDs? So many choices.. *screams*
