Well I'm not really. Trial exams started Monday, I thought I new everything for the first exam (English paper one) I had an extra 10 minutes to spend on my essay, my head was smimming with ideas, but I decided to leave the intro so I could make it impressive, I set about writing and writing and writing, but I wasn't getting anywhere, then came the call for five minutes, 'shit', I hadn't even reached my last related material or started the conclusion or the introduction..... "pens down".
Today was better though, although I couldn't remember how to spell my last name, I couldn't get the 'c' in the right spot at least I didn't get my first name wrong. It was a maths exam and I spent hours studying for it yesterday and felt really proud when I read a question and realised I could do it. I hate maths.
I got the official HSC timetable today, 2 exams on the first day, now that fucking sucks.

Good luck with it all. I hope its all worthwhile in the end. Unlike myself.......... i studied my ass off for my TEE (WA's equivalent to HSC) sat all my exams, did OK in them. I never found out what i got though. For some stupid reason the education department told me that because i didnt enroll in a university course i wasn't entitled to my TEE score. Now im a plumber and i now know i should've left school in year 10 cos i waisted two years with 11 & 12.

our mocks (what we call trials) don't start till october and tee doesn't start till november so i'm not too stressed yet, well at least that's what i'm telling myself. the only thing getting me through is thoughts of leavers and freedom and the slack uni life i'm gonna be a part of because i really hate everything about where i'm at at the moment.
anyway tlcm and everyone else good luck, don't panic, and remember that this doesn't determine the rest of your life [damn i sound like a teacher!]

I only started two new topics (Frontline for English and Peace and Conflict in Indochina for Modern History) two weeks ago, our trials have been altered a little so we are only examined on the little bit that we have done. The actual HSC begins on the 20th October. However, my art major is due in on the 31 August and lets just say my teacher is suggesting I buy lots and lots of coffee for some really late nights.

I swear, if you like art, TEE art is the worst thing you can possibly do, I go through hopeless mood swings from hating it desperately to only mild dislike to vague enjoyment to extreme frustration.... and I haven't finished any of my three folio topics and fucking hell everything has to be finished by sometime in September and ARGH NOOOOOOOOO it's just not happening. On top of all the other crap. Like history orals. I hate them. ERGH. Enough complaining,... as someone said, just holding on the the thought of leavers...

Yeah, don't do art, you'll end up hateing it. I have an unfinished painting, 2 sculptures and anouther I haven't started, try not to give yourself too many topics with a major, it all sounds good to start with, but I'm telling you 200 days goes to 50 to 30... very quickly.

doing TEE art would make the greatest art-lover hate it to bits. i really strongly advise against doing it. that subject had way waaay too much fucking work, and very veerrry little in return (marks wise, being scaled down).
