I know I'm too harsh with guys. I'm too selective and I realise that but I always feel I need to have at least one thing in common with someone. Although some of the local boys are nice most are too macho or countryish for me to get into. I guess I need to be able to understand them better.
I hate it though when some males usually under 20 try so hard to prove that they aren't gay, this homophobia really turns me off. Arrogance also turns me off, lol, hypocritical.
I was fighting with someone the other day about the older younger deal. He was having ago at me for liking older guys. Why is it that girls (not all) prefer an older male partner and some males prefer younger?
Sometimes I think I would be better off gay, then the whole issue no longer matters so much.

being gay would not solve anything at all.... in fact it might even make it harder cos you'd never be sure if people were gay... which i suppose is crap of me to say as im just assuming that everyone would be straight but i dont mean it like that... girls usually prefer older guys and vice versa because then yur on the same wave length. it would seem that all the guys around you are too young and immatiure and doing stupid things and all the guys think that the girls around thema re so boring and into boring 'mature' stuff... yeah.
doc. i remmeber when you were really happy about having gottena girlfriend and im sorry that its all gone down the craphole for you... i still love you!.. but for real if shes been a stupid bitch then dont let her get you down. not all girls bitch about never finding a nice guy and if they do its becasue guys have treated them in the exact same way that your girl treated you.....
i t9ink the perspon who started this topic is a bit of an idiot... yeah girls are moody and upredictable etc but as someone else pointed out sometimes you cant even tell waht mood guys are in cos they never express themselves....
so it goes both ways. i think instead of getting really angry about shit that ALL girls apparently do or ALL guys apparently do just... well i dont know the advice columnist in my brian is taking a quick tea break.
heart goes out to everyone whos posted here because you all it seems have had some bad love experience or whatever and its alwasy bad when some evil person ruins your ability to fall in love again, because.. yeah its bad.

i know some guys prefer girls to be direct... what situation are you talking about? I prefer direct chicks, if they cant say anything to my face without coating it with fancy big words, and hidden messages and sexual inuendos... (cant spell/not going to try) ...then theyre way beyond this honesty crap they ask for in a relationship... you're so sweet - stay that way - but thats probably also why you're feeling like you get trampled on... meh, dont take it too far, there are limits...did i mention the world is a shithole? and id prolly end up fuckign the relationship anyway(and no, not in that sense), so im gona boycott <insert laughter at not-so-funny word exploit here> chicks for this yr, get me finals outa the way and party/fail uni next yr... untill then, i bid all straight females (and all homosexual males by nature) farewell... *blocks all females from msn and icq. |

no, you know that great feeling when your in a relationship and everythings good and happy and you know that if you feel like crap or somting has gone wrong you can always call them up or see them and have someone to talk to who will like.. look after you... dont just cos youve had a few, or possibly many, bad experiences let that stop you from getting that feeling.. especially if the more you look the more liekly you are to find someone perfect.. i dont know satrt looking for different thigns in a a gal... <hey the advice columnist is back!>.. though of course you could alwasy stop looking and maybe she'll jump up and bite you in the arse... either way...

Ehh.... whatever. I see it as thus.
Most blokes have emotions and feelings, and can carry on like females at any given time. BUT they're bought up with the background of "Men don't cry, men are tough etc etc"

Therefore unless a male person can find inside themselves where these raw emotions we were born with are, then we'll always (not in all cases) come accross as mostly ignorant, uncaring and unsatisfied for a long time.
Then there's females. Their emotions are trained from an early age and some women play on them, twist and turn them into the type of woman that this topic was started about.
MOST women and men are also easily moulded into the stereotypical person that society wants to see and hear. Unless you've got the wilpower to become who you want to be then, stand to be classed as someone who gets whinged about.

i'm going back to michael's original point - generalizations are stupid and pointless. there are people out there who break the mould, you just have to find them. and that may sound all happy-hopeful-optimistic-go fuck yrself peppy, but it's better than writing off the opposite sex [or same, if that's your thing] and giving up.
