they played Fall Down in assembley today. Sadly, they only played the introduction, and I was forced to watch the student council trying to perform scottish dancing when not one of them had a clue what they were doing - and then they stopped it when the singing starts. Then they proceeded to ruin it further by playing Nikki Webster, John Farnham, and that song 'love is in the air' whoever thats by... oh yeah, did I forget to mention the Lion King: Hakuna matata???
and they were all singing along.
Please, somebody kill me...

Yeah i know what you mean, at school mass ( i went to a catholic school-same as SFK) they used to play 'Imagine' alot which i always found amusing and ironic.

heh, at my school assemblys we just get told to not eat and after about three mobile phone rings 'TURN THEM OFF!!!' quite piercingly.
i hate assemblys. for harmony day at my school there was a notice in the bulletin saying 'wear orange today' and then they yell at us when we wag, tsktsk.

Today I was using the stopwatch on my mobile to time the rate of an enzyme catalysed reaction, because it had to be done accurately, and timed correctly.
Then my phone had to ring, and I had no idea how long or what time I was working off, causing chaos to ensue.
The best part...it was Josha that called ;D

My school is a bunch of thieving.. well thieves. My wallet got stolen along with 2 discmans and 3 phones (boo hoo cry me a river). Our assemblies, or 'opera house rehersals' (we have them every two years.. this year we're chanting to an african tribal song...) are best spent in the disabled toilets.
