I have given the issue of America wanting to go to war with Iraq. Originally I thought that it was about oil hence the use of ground troops. Now however I think that it's more than just this. I have an idea that it may have something to do with getting rid of the U.N. It's not hard to see what this war is doing to the U.N but I have a feeling that this was done on purpose.

the funniest thing is that i don't america realsied that no one (inculding britain and australia) wanted an american run iraq. and bush is all like "yes then we'll go in and we'll make iraq and american military democracy" and all the other countries are sort of like "nooooo i don't think so." next thing you know, they'll be fighting it out over the countries. australia is so piss weak, all the other english colonies have gotten their freedom and all that but australia is just like nah. fucking shite, if you ask me. which you didn't i'll stop now

The funny thing is, a helluva lot of people who are marching against war would have voted for Howard anyway.

I really don't think those 'wag' rallies will have any effect. It will be viewed by some as an attempt just to get out of school. Of course thousands of kids look great on the news and I think thats what the organisers want to achieve (They tried that angle with S11) If the organisers really wanted to play the youth card properly then they would have scheduled the rallies for the weekend, as the students will be giving up their own time to attend and that way it shows a bit more passion for the cause.

I always knew that the protest was all about numbers but in quite a few cities the marches were held on weekends. I really hate George Bush and wanted to do something, there is no use just complaining.
Yeah, heaps of idiots did vote for Howard (if you're one then I'm not sorry, you brought this on all of us) but quite a few people in the marches wouldn't have been old enough at the last election to vote anyway. Sure some did vote for him, and probably will again but then again, that's democracy for ya.
*I'm all for democracy, dictatorships are f***ed up. I just get annoyed when people vote in losers (who people have been whinging about since the 80's) and then complain, vote for him again and complain again. The lesson here is, don't vote for people who will possibly screw us over and make the wrong calls, if they do, then don't vote for them again. I didn't.

The problem is, America's last election wasn't democratically done..now we're all screwed. Democracy has died! Or something equally exaggerated..
