 I won a Area 7 cd throught Drum Media today and it got me thinking; Q. what is the best compettion you have ever won?? I have won ticket to Spendour In The Grass (but couldn't go due to financial strain - i did try to walk or hitchhike from Sydney to Byron Bay - but mum wouldn't let me - to dangerous), tickets to see lo-tel @ Northpoint Tavern and tickets to see The Whitlams @ The Basement plus t-shirts and stickers etc. iu even won an dicksmith electronics set when i was eight and got my name in the paper. The Area 7 compettion was won by people living not far away from me - i live in south Sydney and the other winners were Engadine, Gymea (the Suburb next to mine) and Carlton - there must be 4 very happy people living in the Southerland Shire with new Area 7 cds.

I can't tell you the best competition I have ever won, I've only won Soccer and once got a little blue ribbon but other than that I haven't won anything.
My mum tried to hitch-hike from Melbourne to Ninbin once for some music festival but she didn't make it either. I love it when parents do that sort of stuff because you can always hold it against them.

well ive won heaps of stuff over my 20 years, like Smashing Pumpkins promo cds and vids, heaps of CD's, most of my stuff ive won from Recovery/Esky/Blunt magazines.
but the best was when my mum won a car in '98. A brand new 99 model Hyundai Excel Twin Cam...
she gave it to me.
How cool is that?

wen i was little i used to enter all those terrible liddle beauty competitions. in 87 i was little miss junior jems. mwehehe oh dear. in 92 i was spring festival princess. bwahaha. aaiiieee. that phase is well and truly over becos i'm not a preddy little cutie anymore. thats what happend wen yew grow up  i've won cd's and whatnot but they were all preddy shoddy like skunkhour, sash and stuff. i've also won signed posters and a superheist pack from citychat but i neva got the superheist stuff *glares* bastards. |

joce, now i laugh, cos of mixd buziness, i knew it bahhhh. heh
err, ive won cds, and tickets to gigs and the like some being 2 jebs gigs etc.. ummm, idont think ive won too much excitement.. i get sent random cds heaps fer free, and i dont know why most of the time, but thats not a comp.
a comp i wanna win though is the triple j, homebake comp fer an unsigned band to play.. *preys to no-one*
basically this is a rather useless post, maybe i mite remember other prizes ive gotd.. maybe

i never win anything. I dont enter enough competitions.
when i was little i always wanted to win those prizes for saturday disney. Have you seen that table of goodies. Imagine getting that package on your doorstep!!!

haha mixed business indeed, are u talking bout my last name again? seriously its not that trivial boi.
i always wanted to win the satdy disney prizes too they were the goods... i remember winning a ginger meggs pet book wen i was 8 from the cartoon section in the sunday herald or telegraph i ferget which one heh that was nifty i was the coolest colourer innerer.

well, i've won tickets to da last 2 jebs gigs I've been too... and that was rather nice but by far the best competitions I've won were either...
# a newspaper colouring in competition. I won a lovely video of "round da twist" episodes. Hoorah!
or
# an access all areas pass 2 da big day out this year n having dinner wif da Placebo boys. bon apetite!
hmmm, i rilly can't quite decide between da two...

I forgot; i won a jebs video on the jebediah.net, there was a bit of confusion cos they sent an email to my brothers address and being a little shithead that he is deleated it and didn't tell me until days later, so i finally got it contact with them and got my video sent out - happy ending, though i did want to kill my little brother - 16 year olds are idiots.

hehe that is all so cute!!
ive won stuff from juice.net, but most of it was left over stuff and thankyew's fer helping out with chats.
ive won heaps in sport but im over all that now...
the bestest thing i can remember winning is a signed copy of 'whatever yew want' SP by SFK in drum media.. i ran all the way home on a fucking hot day and blistered my feet up :/
