If I remember rightly, this became true after some sick fucks decided to make the song a true story. Thus, "Rape Me" was written. ''Polly'' written after Kurt Cobain read a newpaper article in 1997 about a girl who had been abducted by Gerald Friend at gun point and then repeatley tortured her with whips, razors and a blowtorch, in 1991 two guys while singing "Polly" raped another girl , so the song was true before these boys raped the other girl was a true story

I'll assume 1997 was a typo, but cheers for the clarification.

Favourite Videoclip: Rabbit in your headlights - U.N.K.L.E. Invalid Litter Dept. - At The Drive-In
Song that has made you cry: Some Natures Catch No Plagues - Saetia ..was the first Saetia song i'd heard and his voice from the very start hit me..it sounded like there was a real element of honesty and desperation in it. and i was sleep deprived.
Worst album: umm..i hide a lot of my albums away cos they're shit, so i'm struggling to think...I'd say just any of the 'punk' type stuff, that alex mentioned in her answer to this.
Most moving song: napoleon solo - At The Drive-In Tuesday - Penfold Digits - Jimmy Eat World Saetia - Venus and Bacchus
Most 'lyrically sound' album: i really cant think..maybe Domestica, by Cursive...maybe Relationship of Command - At The Drive-In. Not that i know what's going on half the time, just for the images the lyrics paint in my head.
