28 days? Nu-Metal? Fuck. Stupidity never ceases to amaze me. there were plenty of nu metal comparisons when upstyle down came out. obviously theyre not like that any more but nobody here said they are.

Seems I get more short sighted responses to a comment that has a well founded argument.
Yes, stylistically 28 Days are probably fuck all like the bizkit, but anyone who's seen the clip for Sucker vs My Generation will know where I'm coming from with the comparison.
I was one of the unlucky fucks who bought "Upstyle Down", foolishly thinking that it would be good. The joke was on me. Listen to it and Chocolate Starfish if you want to compare some more.
You can bet that after hearing the first two singles from "Stealing Chairs" I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole.
Admitidly I was probably stretching with the whole Sugar Ray comparison, but it was based purely on "Whats the deal" another stupid song about driving around, drinking beer, hanging out at the beach. (And what self-respecting aussie drinks Coopers anyhow.)
Hey, at least it wasn't as stupid as the Superheist post. Close, but not quite as dumb.

I've seen the film clips i have the albums mentioned from both bands. You have no argument here theres no denying there are similarities and considering limp was the hottest thing for a while there. Im sure their record company pushed for that kinda image. Im just saying 28 days were doing that kinda stuff before limp were huge.
Upstyle down wasnt the best album of all time but god its better than the crap they are coming out with now. and i never said i was a fan i just said i liked them

You can bet that after hearing the first two singles from "Stealing Chairs" I wouldn't touch it with a 10 foot pole. What was wrong with Take me away? I admit, Whats the Deal is not the best song, but it is better than some of the other crap on the airwaves today. I still think that 28 Days are musically different to limp dick in their own right. I'll settle for just 'aggreing to disaggreing'

Green Day... His voice annoys me. Anyone else hear he got arrested for drinking driving? I was 1/2 a sleep when I heard this, so I could be completely wrong, as I generally am. Yeah, he got arrested but he got out on bail, I think.

if i'm not being confused with someone else, i'm pretty sure that 28 days started off as a Hardcore band...the photos of them and flyers for their gigs on the walls of Shanty Town seem to support that theory. Where as limp Bizkit have only ever been considered hardcore by dickhead fans who also think Linkin Park are HC. that's not to say that 28 Days haven't strayed from their HC roots, as clearly they have, but just because they have a turntablist and a singer who at times raps doesn't mean they're trying to be like limp bizkit. If every band that was made up of the same instrument use were to sound the same, we'd be fucked with all the bands that have guitar/bass/drums/vocals sounding even more like each other than a lot of them already do. ..and why has this thread gone on so long without any Fred Durst bagging? bla bla tubby cunt etc

Personally, I can't wait to see how the fuck they plan on bringing out new material without Wes Borland.
Fred on guitar? That'll be some funny shit.

someone told me that rivers from weezer wrote (and maybe recorder) some guitar bits for limp bizkit...i find it very strange and a bit hard to believe. but the thought of it is bad enough.

I didn't mean for you to believe from what I said that I thought 28 Days were copying Limp Bizkit. Mabe I did leave it a bit open but I dunno I can't be bothered going back to what I wrote. What my intention was, was to suggest reasons why some people may see Limp Bizkit and 28 Days as being moderatly similar.
Michael, there has always been an undertone of dislike towards Limp Bizkit and Fred Durst, other wise the 28 Days fans wouldn't have tried so hard to proove that the two bands have any similarities what so ever. The retardedness of Fred Durst is so strong that is doesn't always need to be said.

who gives a shit. i bet about 20 people at least got booked for drink driving between now and when he did, why does he matter? I didn't say it did, I was just stating something... my name is aaronardo, and I have a problem with people, in general. Especially if they have a varied opinion to mine. Well, maybe you should work on that...

He did some session work for Crazy Town's new album - 1 song... Hurt You So Bad i think it was... It was probably easier for a Crazy Town fan to look on Weezer sites for that song when the advance CD got ripped to mp3... LOL. Fucking RHCP-stealing Crazy Town.
