a nice little: lets vent about stuff that shits me

first of all (and i know this is gonna get slammed beacuse they're adored) but does anyone else really dislike silverchair? like i really like all there old stuff but all the new stuff seems so drippy and whiney and... i dont know. like the after all this time(or whatever its called) video clip is so... pathetic in a sort of sad puppy way. and daniel johns has the whiniest voice and the whole eyebrow thing. and im pretty dissapointed in him too. like i know he doesn't have to but he gets this major disease which isn't very well known but he doesn't seem to do anything to rasie awareness or money even though hes in an important posistion in the public eye and able to help others. like michael j. fox and muhammed ali have done so much for parkinsons disease as an example but.... daniel johns seems to have done nothing except talk about it and..i know im being unfair... how shit it is for him. and im totally happy to be proved wrong in that point, i welcome evidence to the contrary.
does anyone else hate the vines? cos i dont.. im sort of.. here and there on them but a few weeks ago they were sort of the greatest living band and now theyve been replaced by qotsa and are quite disliked and i wanna know what everyone else thinks.
does it annoy any of the girls at the bdo that all the girls t shirts are like light pink and light blue and all these stupid colours and the guys shirts are always cool and black or green or whatever. it shits me because the guys tshirts are ALWAYS too big and sometimes i want a tshirt that fits that isn't some prissy colour but i got a cool augie march tshirt cos their cool AND a cooool jebediah tshirt which is very way cool and i love and i think will never wash so that it always retains the essence of jebs at the bdo!
does anyone know if thier touring soon.. iw ish theyd do more under age gigs cos otherwise i never get to see them. thats another thing that bands do which is kind of shittty. there arefans who are under 18 and cant get into festival hall and i really wanna go see the bands and i never can and its really upsetting becasue all i can do is listen to the album

I agree with the Silverchair thing. I am certainly not a fan of their new material or album. I don't own the album but my friend does and I've heard it all and for a while there you couldn't escape them on the radio. I don't mean to knock the band but it's crap. It just seems like a half hearted thing. They went away for so long and when they came back, they were rich and satisfied so although they used alot of various expensive techniques it lacked something. Alot of bands get this. Mabe it's the added strings and stuff that I don't like, I guess I just feel it's a bit too over done.

I'm not a fan of the Vines, but I don't dislike them as much as I did when I first heard them. There was alot of hype but when I first heard the music it didn't live up to the standards. I'm not saying the vines are completly crap (I don't mind Country Yard and a few other songs) I was just disapointed. The main problem is that they got big really fast and didn't get time to polish up .

I don't own many light clothes [they make me look washed out] I prefer dark clothes because I've got light skin and they just make me look better. Even my Deb dress was Ivory because I looked shit in white. I don't care what colour band T-shirts are, if I don't like the shirt I just don't buy it, I buy something else that I like better. Yes many shirts at the moment are light pastels but if you look hard enough you can find something. I went shopping a few weeks ago and came home with an almost fuchia (I know I can't spell) shirt [no it wasn't a band shirt]. I now own 3 pretty shirts. [care factor 0 I know but don't particularly care].

I'll end this now before I start to go on about politics like George dubbya, war and Little Johny. I'll leave that for anouther time.

im defying the traditional social conventions of pink being a "girly" colour. kinda.
besides, it makes me look pretty.

but its always annoying when you cant get cool band shirts because there arent girl types...
