I feel that I can safely say that today the Hottest 100 was shit. It was most likly the worst one yet. I don't mind QOTSA but for some reason several of the songs I voted for ended up at the wrong end. I guess I didn't hear the whole thing though, I missed about 3 hours of it.

Neither do I but it could've been much worse. Everyone in my house believed the Nelly thing, none of us had heard the song before and I don't listen to much Triple J anymore either.

I cheered like a bitch when 'Get Free' got announced as #5. The drum tracks on QOTSA are fucking awesome though (for obvious reasons).
To have Eminem and MGF songs beat 'You know you're right' is just plain insulting. Just ask Rollergirl (Who apparently 'topped herself' after Nirvana got called out @ #12).

i'd missed the first 10 or something in the 100 so i wasn't sure if the jebs were on or not then when the salmon hater song came on and adam and will were saying how the jebs came in at 101 i nearly choked!
but at least 7 outta of the 10 were aussies

They played half of Nothing Lasts Forever just before the no. 100 song as a sort of joke. While it was on I just thought 'at least they made it in', much to my mistake.

i think some people in this world are fucked up. Ok the waifs... well they are resonable, but for them too come 3rd, what the fuck, and nirvana to come 12? i think someones doing sexual stuff to someone.... and that damn aboriginal group getting 51.... im not racist but what the fuck is that, its not music Area 7's nobody likes a bogan got 56 while augie march got 57, i really have no fucking idea what the fuck most of australia is doing, it seems people are getting more stupid and liking shit music a lot more these days. I cant see Area 7 - nobody likes a bogan or antiskeptic getting more votes then jebs, the same as i want to know how the fuck the waifs got more votes then nirvana....  |
