Him and Sam got there really early, and met them whilst they were doing the soundcheck or something along those lines. they were both right up the front.

wellllllllllll we got there super early, and me and sam waited at the back of festival hall, and they rocked up in their tour van, and dave ran over to us and some other people and im like can you sign ym cd dave, and hes like yeah sure , so i gave him my japanese special edition my hero ep, and he looked at it and goes "woah whats this?? COOL!' and signed it, then sam asked if he could shake his hand and hes like yeah sure and sam shook his hand then sam asked dave to play aurora and i asked too, and he said okkkkk then had to go do soundcheck. anyways we went back to our spot which was first in line! anyways after lots of hassles from security we finally got in and we were front row straight in front of chris shiflett, and they played all my faves including new way home, exhausted and everlong, and when they played aurora (for an encore) dave goes, ok these guys wanted aurora and looked at me and sam, and i nearly cried  (pure fanboy) and at the end i got chris shifletts pick, sam got one and so did rob, and i got daves water bottle and sam got chris's water bottle. it was the greatest fucking day/night of my life  |

ur so lucky to have met dave..i missed half of there set cause i got heaps sick..that pisses me off.i waited the whole day to c the foo fighters and spent the last half with st john ambulance..oh well half is betta than nothing at all.

i missed festival hall  stupid ticketek woman wouldnt belive i was eighteen.... so what if im not! i know that bands shouldnt have to play underage gigs because they wouldn't pull to great an audience and its a waste of time but whatever happend to all agers or 15+ ?? there are so many ways of stopping the kiddies drinking alch if thats the problem oh it shits me up the wall... has anyone heard about the ben harper/jack johnson tour? man that will be cool and i know there playing byron. they better come to melbourne and do an all ager otherwise im going get someone to buy me that ticket. i should have done that for the foos...... |
