ode to my car is by far the weakest song on the album...
oddly enough, its the song that the lyrics stuck in my head since the first time i heard it live...
damn "novelty-esque" songs...

i'm buying it tomorrow. really. iam.dammit. i'd like to take this opportunity to thank all you *ahem* mysterious guests for entertaining me and keeping me from my study... ignore me I'm suffering from a strange disease called 'exam preparation', i'm told it's fairly common...is there a support line? like an AA type thing.... bah. anyone know?  |

To add further fuel to the fire - I skip Heaven With You AND The Hermit.
I'm not sure whether The Hermit is meant to be a post-ironic statement from a tortured artist lamenting the state of his world, but the layers of backing vocals and combined with the lyrical content is absolutely grating.

Of course if it was meant to be like that, well done Bob, you are a very clever boy with talented collaborators etc. etc. etc.
P.S. Like, WOW! Look at Craig Nicholls, he's totally WACKY! That kid pulls funny faces! He must be CRAZY!
