Excellent band. It's gonna be a great ep. I'd be very surprised if jjj didn't get behind it - although I have been very surprised before.

Interesting live to be sure...with a few shows under my belt to compare! Lots of energy, maybe less talk more music  . Saw them Friday night with Rhubarb in the blistering Grosvenor heat, had to feel for the bands under the lights - a great job by Gyroscope & Rhubarb - and a free sauna session for one and all. |

That Rhubarb show was a bit of a shocker I thought! Sound wasn't the best. Gyro play on Wed night at Hemisphere, shall be good. And hopefully they will play their new song "chapter 13" Anyone else heard it? It's a pearler!

a guy a i know (richard) reviewed that rhubarb show w/ gyro and he said gyro were heaps good and didnt mention anything about the sound.
i havent heard 'chapter 13' yet. boo. i'm interviewing them soon, woo!

The mix was just really bad, ask them about it, if you feel the need! I am sure you'll have better things to talk about though! What's the interview for? Chapter 13 is good, and their weezer cover is pretty cool too.

Yeah, it is "say it ain't so" And it's pretty good. Only they didn't do it too well on Friday night, but the Cactus Club was a bit of a hole, so we shall just blame it on that!
I'll see them on Wed & Sat nite, so I am sure it will be sounding top noch by then!
Let me know when you have the interview up. Or maybe i should just go and check out the web site...

Tonight at Hemisphere in Maylands with Times Up & Tantrum, and Saturday night a "secret gig". They are playing the final turnstyle all ages gig on the 4th of May at Amplifier too.

that is so very cool. i hope they do it well...there's nothing i hate more than seeing a band totally ruin a song by covering it..but i'm sure it'll be great. ;D
can't wait to see gyroscope at the turnstyle/sekiden gig!
