OMG get over it Josh.
I might not be great at playing the guitar and I can't sing but that doesn't mean I have to like it. Mainstream rock just seems so fake to me. Don't even bother with "and what everything else isn't", some of these bands just seem too calculated. Music should be at least slightly sponaneous although this is lacking in much of todays stuff (there are some exeptions). I guess all I'm saying is I hate most (who knows I may like something) mainstream rock. By dissing the teeny boppers I'm not trying to fit into any niche, it's just that the whole sheep movement sickens me, although some of my best friends are members of it.

I dunno, I respect Britney more than Avril. I mean Britney has never (in my knowledge) tried to deny her pop-isity. Avril seems to be tryin' 2 be the pop crowd's view of 'alternative'. That's what bugs me ATM, anyway.
I give props to Nelly furtado tho, released a song with the title "Shit on the radio" is a pretty big movie, considering her market... but thats just my opinion.
