paintbrushes, where i was in the pit it was cool and breezy...the last thing i needed was literally buckets of water thrown over me. I couldnt enjoy sfk cuz for the majority of the time i was either shivering or my ears were too full of water to hear anything.  |

I was in the front row for SFK as well at Big Day Out... I suppose it was pretty hot and having water sprayed occasionally to cool us down would've been good, but it got *just a little bit* annoying having the goddamn hose in my face for most of the set. Even more annoying when the neanderthal of a security guard decided he'd spray my camera right as I was taking a photo. Dickhead.  |

i didnt watcj grinners, have no idea where i was at the time though. i only caught gyroscope. (!!!!), magic dirt, sfk and most of silverchair. i missed shihad cause i was getting my spot for sfk... probably like yew were?

sorry.. going to skip back a few msgs and answer to the soaking and wetness of water being thrown at you when you are hardly thirsty - and getting hardly anything when you are almost dying from dehydration...
and then your clothes get more lint balls on them because of the water, and it doesn't help that you run through the water fountain either....pfffttt

Yeah I only caught glimpses of Shihad from my SFK spot.. I was on that stage from about 10 minutes before the end of Amen. During Grinners Adam and Raul from MD came out on stage towards the end of the set.. Stark naked.

Hehe.. Yeah when they played here last September Raul was getting changed backstage after the show. I thought that was bad just seeing him take off his shirt. Luckily at that point during Grinners set I was about 10 rows back in the mosh. My condolences go out to the people in the front row who had an unobstructed view.  |
