haha yes!! we had those flashing cards and haha the pictures which try and help you remember the letters can be so damn hilarious also... i just found my katakana in 48minute cards... haha listen 2 how u have to try and remember these letters- they r all represented by pics btw 'a'- stick out ure tongue and say 'a' 'e'- for End of show 'ka'- for cut the bread with a sharp knife 'ne'- for you will NEver find ure way on these roads 'mu'- a moose ate part of a triangle 'yu'- who is number one? you! u really have to see the actual pictures/letters to understand it more haha... juts brings back too many memories of yr7 and 8 jap classes...we even played this game called kick up the ass....and every1 had to stand in a line and the teacher would go down the line asking a question and if we got it wrong the next person in line got 2 kick us in da bum...it was such a stupid game but heapz funny and one of the jap teachers at our skool..mr.lee, he used to b a sumo wrestler...but u honestly couldnt imagine it coz now he is this real shortish skinny lil guy...but there is a picture in da corridoor of him...n e wayz..lol

ahaha yeh i reckon we had other picture cards though... ahh the stupidness like 'ke' was this cage (Kege) thing which a bear had gotten out of.. and the 'se' picture was like this couple with the sun SEt. but we always knew it SE for something else... isn't teflon just 'yippidy yippidy'?? or the like?... ahh yes compulsory japanese kindergarden through to yr 6..
