same here too. i'm thinking of getting rid of my jebs collection to make space on my shelves cause they're just wasting it all. i have just about every release, cd & vinyl included. |

oh fuck..i forgot to use the proper quote...
i agree..i really liked the progression from Odway to Shambles and was looking forward to what #3 could bring....the first few days i had the album, i liked it...then the novelty of it being the new jebediah album wore off. I even like most of the B-sides off the previous two albums better than i do just about all songs off #3.
sorry, it's too early for me to structure my sentences properly. it always is too early.

dr. - i listened to a 5 track sampler in 78's when i was in perth, only liked nothing lasts forever & yesterday... then i bought the album, listened to it once, i didn't like it. listened to it a few more times and still couldn't get into it.
gave it to a friend but listened to it one more time before i gave it away, and i still couldn't get into it. when i try put older stuff on, i have to skip some songs cause i don't like them anymore.

i am listening to shambles at the moment and thinking 'what an awesome album, no wonder it got me into the band when all i knew was spiderbait and silverchair'
i listened to #3 last night and i was thinking 'yeh this is good but there is no progression compared to their old stuff'
sad really isn't it, i guess coz there was such a progression between odway and shambles that they couldn't really make that much of a progression again, but don't get me wrong i still like the new album!!

jebs are cool but i wouldnt say they are close to being my fave band! sonic youth all the way  those guys should be up there in fame of it all... eh.. top 5 fave bands 1 - sonic youth 2 - foo fighters 3 - smashing pumpkins 4 - deftones 5 - Muse .... 9 - jebediah |
