leet.paradoxi.net/nirvana-you_know_youre_right.mp3Here it is peeps, the new track coming on the greatest hits CD rumoured for X-Mas. Then again, Courtney has fucked around with shit so much, I wouldnt be surprised if that release gets delayed too... This is, of course, the studio version, not the live version that has been around for ages. Enjoy it. If it doesn't work, lemme know, and I'll sort out somewhere else for it to go for Jebz board ppl to get at it. If the link above is dead, email me at filmmker@iinet.net.au ok?

I just saw the film clip for it. The songs not bad, but the film clip is really cool - with all the tour clips, Kurt Cobain trashing everything on stage, etc. Anyone know the tracklisting for the recently remixed Nirvana CD?

i reckon its not a bad song, even though it sounds a bit too nirvanary. and yes that does make sense

I like it too, though not as much as their other stuff. It's not Nirvanarey at all, you can begin to see the new progression they were beginning to take with that song. For some reason it reminds me of Tool occasionally.

TEXTi really like the song, i think the first time i heard of it was on the hole mtv unplugged. Its probably the best song courtney has ever done, and even in her version you can really tell its nirvana, if you think how they were heading after in utero, more angry more....just more. Then well, no more. I still say thanks for kurt, for his words and as we grow up and move on from the teenage angst he isnt here to say what we think before we even think it. This song i relate to a part of my life im leaving behind now, im not an angry lil kid anymore im just suspended in time and beyond i dont know whats there, and, well there is no kurt here to write about it either, this song makes me sad.

yeah i first heard the song off a poor bootleg and i think it was the first time they played it (kinda untight) but yeah, when i heard the recorded version i was really liked it... not the best, but its up there (rock on Scentless Apprentice \m/) yeah the film clip is cool but a good percent of the film clip is footage from 'Live, Tonight, Sold Out' (whatever ) but yeah damn cool video

i think releasing you know your right as a single was stupid...their was so much hype... and a majority of people i know who've heard it are a little disappointed.. i mean..its an alright song.. but it's not brilliant.. i think its sad that nirvana havent gone out on such a high note just my 2 cents

oh no, nirvana hasn't gone out on any note yet...there'll still be more posthumous recordings to be found, plus many different forms of 'greatest hits', 'the best of', 'the ultimate collection', 'simply the best', 'remastered', '20th anniversary edition', 'white boy rap remixes', etc of their recordings..the worst is yet to come.
