They don't have a lack of talent, if they didn't know how to write a good song they wouldn't be where they are today. Even bands like Blink 182 aren't talentless.

it takes a certain degree of talent to wipe your arse...having said that, some people live on a farm all their lives and kiss their cousins..it's about all there is to their lives. simple, really.
