i like this topic...i found some jebs singles and sum ol fooies stuff..but i did notice alot of nirvana singles around the second hand shops lately...

a friend bought me the cd's then gave them to the band to sign, all as a present, it was pretty good. i gave them the unsigned copies i allready owned in return.

today i got the radish album (the band ben kweller was in as a teenager) for $7, not too bad.
also managed to get hold of a recording of jeff buckley's show at belvour back in 96 (i think)

I've seen a few Nirvana ones here and there (and even a vinyl  ), and most of them are really expensive. How the hell RG got hers so cheap remains a confounding mystery. |

i got some nirvana ones for under 5 bucks but others places ive seen them for 20..i guess it pays to shop around huh

i found star machine promo for 3 dollars
got that signed when they did instore for fall down at big star in adelaide so that was pretty cool
got two copies of lo-tel genre casting cd 1 track promo for 3 dollars each, (one of them i got signed)
and 2 copies vinyl 2 track single (with a pop song saved my life demo) for 5 dolars each.
i spend a bit of time looking at second hand cd stores, so yeah you come across some rare stuff, got lots of promos for like 2 dollars each. like motor ace criminal past promo, five star launcry 3 track album promo etc..
jebediah cds singles are not that hard to find around adelaide.
theres a couple of 2nd hand stores which have heaps of singles, one had jerks single for AGES, finally got sold last week i think. but the ones you find are mainly shambles and self titled singles, odway are much harder.
harpoon, twitch and jimmy eat world splits can all be found brand new at most shops too.

nice topic  umm..my best find would probably be a UK pressing of the first run of Love Will Tear Us Apart 7" by Joy Division. i got it at the local Salvo's for 50 cents.. yeah i got a few diff copies of the 7" too.. but do u have a special 12" version..? |
