i went to see mum play last tuesday night and it was brilliant. did anyone else go to that show? has anyone else here seen them play in other states? i thought they were gorgeous beyond words. and if you haven't heard them, do it. NOW. they're the best icelandic electronic you will ever hear...OK, apart from sigur ros.
i think i heard about 50 people state how much they wanted to get to know the singer and her twin sister a lot better...if you know what i mean. i sure do.
and, like all great things, there was a message in it, and it came across in broken english at the end of the set: "in iceland, they want to fish whale - boo!"
mmm yeah. it was a great show. and the last ever show that i'll need to sneak into, because it was my 18th on the 3rd. yeah. no more all ages gigs, thank god!
