it's good. great even. to me, the new stuff sounds nothing like #3... kinda like shambles, with the energy of odway - but at the same time the songs still sound progressive, for lack of a better word. it's not like they're repeating themselves. worlds away is seriously one of the best jeb songs i've heard [it is THAT fucking good]... the other newies are up there as well. they're not as cruisy as #3. not necessarily faster-paced, but just a bit rockier.
that's the way i see it anyway - someone else will probably tell you completely different. but yeah, i don't think you'd be disappointed in the slightest.

i think worlds away was one of the two new ones i heard on new years eve and i think i loved it at the time...though my memory of that evening is somewhat blurred

they only played one new song at NYE didn't they? i thought World's Away was the only new song played until the NW tour recently, in which I know World's Away and Seven Signs of Aging got some play... can't confirm any other new ones getting played but i have a sneaking suspicion that a couple more were played further into the NW tour...
then there was the seven at the regulars show...

Bit of a side topic, but I heard that on wednesday night 'jebediah's manager' (lol) was at the monkey pub/ bar in sydney? The person who said heath was gonna be there was doubtful.. but just wondering did he make an appearance? And was jeb with them?

Yeh i saw em. They were great as per usual. Dunno what the set list was. All new songs, and im not sure what they're called. Man it was so fucken loud. Probably the loudest i've heard the Amplifier for quiet some time. I must say that everyone will be rather impressed with Jebs new stuff, sounding a bit oldskool jebs. Thats rock n roll for ya hey Heath...........
