I tried but because Ive been to
6 Big Day Outs
2 HOmebakes
one Splendour In The Grass
one Byron Bays Blues festival
one Livid
one Meredith festival (appropriate!)
and one Afterburn
plus countless live shows of just one or two bands I decided it was impossible about 20 bands in, so bugger it.
Although I DID work out that if a festival ticket averages 100 bucks, and a normal gig costs say 25 bucks, then over the last 6 years I've spent about

THOUSAND
DOLLARS [/glow]
on seeing bands live.
JUST on the tickets.
That is a LOT.

That'd be quite impossible for me, I just calculated how many bands I saw last year [pretty sure I didn't miss that many] and it came to 96 bands, and I saw them a total of 186 times. Blueline Medic headed the list with 10.
