Homebake 01 I think. Before that I had seen a band play Blink 182 covers in scripture (before I realised we didn't have to go) but that doesn't really count. Neither do any of the stage/concert or marching bands that I saw or played in (*hides)
Michael you must have been 6-7 when you saw U2. At that age I was probably still dancing to my parents Bushwackers LPs in the loungeroom. The closest thing to pop or whatever that I listened to was Accidently Kelly Street by Frente (only song I can remeber).

Amy Grant, she was all the rage back in primary school. Its kinda funny when you look back on what you used to like.

My first live show would've been Celine Dion when I saw her in Seattle. Can't remember exactly how old I was but I think I would've been 10 or 11. Thankfully my music taste has slightly evolved since then.

The show that apple mentioned, was that part of youthweek festivities back in '99? We had the same tour in melb for youthweek 'cept we had 28days or mach pelican to replace sugarchild.
On a completely different topic, this will be my 400th post since sept30 2001. at my current rate I should hit God status sometime next year.

yeah, that was just the animal tour..it's just that the melbourne leg fell on youth week so we got 28 days, mach pelican & Sek...plus the other supports that they had the whole tour. (although without sugarchild?) I think originally the show was just going to be at the hi fi bar, with just garageland and sugarchild, but then jebs got added to the youthweek gig at Metro. It was on august 28th '99, which was my birthday..and that's why i remember all that useless shit that i just posted.
