from the site...
In an unusual move the shows will take place in ornate theatres such as Sydney’s State Theatre and Melbourne’s Palais, rather than in the standard rock venues usually favoured by the Newcastle trio in the 1990’s. These theatres were chosen to provide a different kind of musical experience that is more in keeping with the unconventional stylings of Silverchair’s ambitious new album, “Diorama”.
In a move befitting both the venues and the tour’s title, “Across The Night”, the group will deliver a two-part show with an intermission in between their sets. The first part of the show will focus mainly on quieter and more experimental material. After a brief interval the band will return to the stage and perform more of the heavier rock songs on which they built their formidable live reputation.

something for kate are sell outs....
so are of anaesthesia
But back to the topic.... the first thing i thought when i read tickets where about $50 was.... Fuck that, they are australian, they should be paying us, but then i thought, well sure they spent most of there careers over in the US, but that isnt a reason to throw them out, tell them they are not our brothers.
So in conclusion, i feel that if i were to go, i would pay that amount, as it will stay in our little country, the country we call our home....

Hehehe... well they must be doing something right because the only show that hasn't sold out is the second brisbane one... and they're doing two in each state except perth! apparently we all have to stand at the belvoir amphitheatre dunno how that'll work considering half the show is pretty much orchestral.... and there aren't any supports are there?

i can't believe the perth show has sold out. perthies usually don't get their tickets until a week before the gig.
