Just a reply, alot of places don't like doing underages 'cause the venue doesn't make alot of money. alot of it comes from alcohol sales, plus on a sunday you have to pay staff something like 2 - 1/2 times the pay rate and plus the Jebs have to make some sort of money out of it, so in alot of cases, its not cost -effictive to do U18's, which I know sucks. Maybe the Evelyn won't let them do U18's in Melb

Maybe the Evelyn won't let them do U18's in Melb hey, all the bands at dude are unsigned and pretty much unheard of in the melb metro area.......yet, i wonder why places would let us have an underage gig and not jebs? eh? eh? btw, $500 includes all costs like security, doorman, pa, lites........every fucken thing! (except advertising which would be done with the rest of tha gigs anyway and the mixer which bands like jebs would insist on usin their own anyway) and yeh, some venues don't like it.....but the venues don't lose money coz underage gigs at pubs are during the day, and the pubs aren't even open (or only get like 3 ppl) in the day anyway!.......it's not like they'd have an overage gig during tha day in place of an under ....just another bit of useful info......the corner only costs $300 more

no offence to whoever said it, but if u are underage its also fucking likely that u can't go on a roadtrip to regional gigs!!!!! !!!! exhibit A - ME if im underage i dont have a car do i! altho some people do, i dont, and even if i did i wouldn't waste the cash on the trek. cos no offence, i love jebs and all, but i'd rather spend my well earned $ on a band that does all ages in reasonable locations. sorry jebs, but that's the way it goes when i dont have much $. i pick the best deal. i have only seen them once and that was at skate by the lake at the opening of the new skate park at perry lakes, end of easter hols this year. they were really really good. anyway. i can't do anything but complain on this list if u dont do all ages, so if u choose NOT to listen to ur fans, and u DONT do any all ages, i won't be buying the single or cd...... i may burn it.

i already asked bout gettin them to play an u18 and they said maybe next year when they come back......so fingers crossed....and u'll all come when it's on rite? would be at the corner too!!! the Corner Hotel in Melbourne??!!! cool!! i've seen SFK and 28 days there, both underage, and they were absolutely awesome. it's a great underage venue. they only had 2 people working there, the barman and the cloak room person, so it wouldn't cost much to pay the people that work there. who did you talk to, to find out they might do a Corner gig next year??

hee hee.. george from seinfeld is awesome I'm 18 now so it's okay.. but I know how annoying it is when bands don't do aa gigs... just remember that they're really busy, and have tons of work to do. They can't get everywhere.. plus the perth people had a FREE jebs gig in may, PLUS the instore and signing this month... , we get at least one free AA gig a year, if not more, plenty of dates when they're touring, plus a ton of regional gigs.. so take what you're given and be thankful you see them as many times as you do.

yeah a few all age gigs would be good....i know here there would be quite a few people go to it. Frenzal Rhomb had quite a few under age people at their recent show here. According to the tour dates and times, they are here, and i'm sitting at my computer cos it is an 18 & over gig and there isnt an all age gig as far as i know.

Taking in to consideration the fact that prior to the current tour of rural Western Australia Jebediah have only played something like three shows this year (There was the "In the Pines" RTR FM Benefit at UWA, that gig at the Fly By and that show at Perry Lakes Skate Park - Mind you they have most probably played several gigs under a different name), it seems a bit strange that the "Fall Down" tour is only seven gigs long. By now, the majority of their fans would be hanging out to catch them live and would see them at any cost. I guarantee that flocks of under agers will be cramming the lines trying their luck at getting in to the 18 + gigs, as I will be myself, because we can't wait any longer dammit. Would it have really hurt for them to extend their tour by say five or six more gigs and an extra week so that they could make way for more all ages shows?
