the bassist from the john butler trio relocated to darwin recently and Kattamaran is his new band. i never really got into the trio but these guys are awsome, i've seen a couple of their gigs at the uni, and its a double bass, a didg and simple percussion. they were great, oh and harmonica thrown in. ;D

which one? theres been 2 ex-bassists for jbt. the last one who left was rory...that guy was awesome.  i love the double bass ;D |

yeah all of the jbt bassists have been cool. i just gave rory a special mention because i talked to him for a while he he was just a really nice guy.
i was really impressed with the new guy when i saw him at rockit 02...hypnotising to watch him almost.
