I was excited when i heard that JEW were coming down. i was really pissed that i missed 'em last year. At the moment their website only lists the BDO shows. Weren't Jebs supposed to be doing a tour round that time? Interesting.......

dont expect a separate jebs show round bdo because i heard that bdo has a policy that aus acts cant have separate gigs while on tour....

it would make sense though as Lees & West also promote a lot of the sideshows done by international bands on BDO so they wouldn't want much competition.

jimmy eat world are doing sideshows in brisbane sydney and melbourne, nick from antiskeptic told me friday night, whcih is a bugger case i live in adelaide! last year when then came we went to get tickets and the show was cancelled due to lack of sales, a total of 7 tickets were bought! i was not happy! and then all those rumours abotu them touring with jeb for the state of the nation tour, then it was warped tour, then it was weezer and foo fighters shows, and they never came! BUT FINALLY BDO 2003, im SOOOOO there!  i just really want to see them in a small show, play some older songs, (static prevails and clarity songs, and their singles rock!!!). They usually play like two old songs and the rest is bleed american at festivals and support gigs so i imaging thats wheat we'll get bleed american (salt sweat sugar) the middle a praise chorus lucky denver mint goodbye sky harbour or blister if you dont dont get it faster authority song sweetness somethign like that, they might chuck in a cover, you heard their cover of "firestarter" by the prodigy? id like to see a small clubs tour jebs and jimmy, thatd be soo rad!!!!!! i think it will happen, next tour they come back!!!! |

i doubt you'd get a small clubs tour if both jebs and jimmy eat world were playing. I'd rather J.E.W toured with someone like blueline medic or atleast played a gig in my backyard for a more intimate feel.
when they came last year i saw their melbourne U18 gig, they played with Blueline Medic & Antiskeptic. There would've been not much more than 60 people there and a lot of them were over-age who were part of the touring party or had met the band the night before at the 18+ gig and were put on the door list. They played quite a lot of old stuff, although that was before Bleed American was released so it'd be expected.
They played Episode IV which is one of my all time favourite songs, so i was very pleased.

they could just play 'goodbye sky harbour' for a whole set and i'd be happy with that.
they'll probably play some of the tracks off the split with jebs too i guess.

You're dumb. Beautiful things is so much better, and so is Cautioners. If you're truly emo, you'll understand. I wish S.Best would come out, they truly throw crapola all over JEW.
