well just read on the sparta site.. that sparta are now playing.. fucking gold to go along with foos, qotsa etc. i cant wait all we need is some metal... perhaps sydney band jerk.. and a perfect circle.... shall be nice  what do u people think.. and who are u most looking forward to seeing? |

I might go. It lacks the intimacy of singular shows though. I'm willing to pay extra money to see the bands player better songs and longer sets. I'd be going to see Foos, Sparta, Sonic Youth, GlassJaw, Deftones and Idlewild. I'd probably only go to Foos, Sonic Youth and Idlewild's seperate shows though.

on the first announcements, it looks pretty shit bar foo & deftones and someone else i can't remember. i don't bother with rumours, they're total shit in 95% of cases. watch sparta pull out in under a month's time. jerk...  |

idlewild's bass player quit so that could throw their plans to play out the window...so could the fact that it's only a rumour and they haven't been confirmed yet.
and i love how on the ausfestivals site under the confirmed rumours list it says something like "haven't yet agreed to play" for one of the bands...who the hell does that make them confirmed??
of course that's just going by memory as to what it says since the site wont work for me.

Yeah, Ash would be a nice addition to the line up. I'll be there, I actualy like the first round line up. It'll be interesting to see what the new living end stuff sounds like.
