it's fuelled my excitement for tomorrow. i wasn't very excited until this afternoon.....but now, ahhhhh!#$%

After an intense holiday I will say I loved the big day out on the gold coast.

perth big day out was fukn raaaaaaaaaaad. its the single most excellent day of the year *nods*

white stripes, new order, gerling = fucking brilliant
shihad and grinners were impressive too.. surprisingly so..i didn't expect them to put on a show like that! theyre good usually, but they were even better than usual yesterday. and prodigy were cool.

Bah, I'm wishing I went to see Gerling instead of Something for Kate... As much as I love them, I didn't think their set was anything too special. It was mostly Echolalia, and of that the songs that I don't like that much, eg. Jerry Stand Up, Seasick, Say Something, and all that. Pinstripe made it worth while, and front row is always good, but still. I've seen them many many times and I'm yet to see Gerling.

i say new order were amazing , ive been waiting a good 10 years to see them.. so i was right in the centre at the front bout 3 from the rail, then gerling for the vocoder and stage antics as well as that beautiful sound..
and of course the white stripes, and respect for playing songs of the other 2 albums too! there was a good selection of recognisable perthies watching the stripes..

and also in what mystifying way can meg be so pale..?

and damn the prodigys electronic set up was awesome, synths and a moog that was sounding big got me excited, not the rest of the band.

perth bdo was so lame. all the bands said it was the best so far, but they always say that

its not cause i was in a different state and spent 95% of the day by myself, but the whole BDO thing is pretty boring.

homebake still kicks every festival arse.

gyroscope fucking rocked.

magic dirt were so cool, especially raul smashing his geetar right infront of me and one of the new songs was very gersey-esque!!

shihad sounded great.

something for kate were amazing like always, still dont think they should be playing large festivals but they always put on the best show. yay for front row spots.

silverchair werent bad either, didnt watch all of it but they were pretty good. still havent won me over yet though.
