I just watched (& taped of course) Cold Live at the Chapel and boy, was it good. I saw it through the net live on the monday but the sound and picture quality was poor. I feel really sorry for anyone who missed it, they tried really hard to play well and thats what they did. Kevs voice sounded amazing, the best its been in a while. Congrats to them on a fab show! p.s i saw all you guys and girls who said u were in the crowd, the old lady particulary stood out, what a legend! Rock on Jebediah!!!!!! WOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO

yeah i was wondering what it would sound like on tv and i thought the set sounded awsome especially " if you want it" sounded very good. My only complaint is they didnt play the whole set heheehe. songs like "Number 1" and "Baltic Ballet" which kicked ass, missed out.
p.s Im glad u couldnt hear me singing in the background lol

I thought they sounded really awesome... Nothing against Kev but I think sometimes when they play live he's kinda lazy with his vocals and does a rather half arsed job. (Although it still rocks of course. ) Whereas on Cold Live it sounded so much better when he actually made the effort, especially in Harpoon and If You Want It. Dammit, I want the new album now.

My mum and dad reckons harpoons 2 long - lol - they wathced it with me today and kept saying "there you are" every time thay saw any part of me including the back of me head hehehe - i thought kev's voice was a bit off his usual calibre - my dad said 'why did she do that to hair" when he saw nessa haircut - thats the generaton gap for you. i thought it was great but dissapointed that they didn't play a couple of the songs i saw them record

Yeah i know what you mean about kev getting lazy with his singing, but when he tries (for instance Cold Live) he sounds AWESOME!. My dad walked in when i was watching 'if you want it' and hes not a huge fan of em but he goes " oh my god, is that kevin singing, he sounds great" I reckon he was not only trying so hard because it would be on tv but also because there were a fair few newies in the crowd who he needed to impress. He'll impress me any day even if he sounds crap in a song (which he never does!!) yeah.....anyway

>>What were the other songs they played? cause they only showed 7.<<
I was stoked that they showed seven though, because most bands only get around 5 usually...
And Jebedette, I love your signature, it's my all-time favourite line out of a song. And I'm seeing them in about 15 hours, wohoo! ;D
